1. Agreement

By accessing or using ExtensionDB (extensiondb.store), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Service Description

ExtensionDB is a paid online tool that provides a searchable directory of Chrome extension metadata. The service allows you to:

• Search and filter 246,000+ Chrome extensions
• View extension metadata including permissions, ratings, and developer information
• Analyze permission risk levels
• Bookmark and save extensions for later reference

3. Account & Access

• Access requires a one-time payment of $29 USD processed through LemonSqueezy
• After purchase, sign in with Google or GitHub using the same email address you used at checkout
• Your account is for your personal use only and may not be shared with others
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account

4. Payment & Refunds

• The $29 fee is a one-time payment for lifetime access. There are no recurring charges or subscriptions
• Payments are processed by LemonSqueezy and are subject to their terms of service
• Refund requests may be submitted within 14 days of purchase by contacting us. Refunds are granted at our discretion
• If a refund is issued, your dashboard access will be revoked

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Scrape, crawl, or systematically download data from the service
• Redistribute, resell, or republish the database or substantial portions of it
• Use automated tools (bots, scripts) to access the service
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the service or its infrastructure
• Use the service for any unlawful purpose

6. Extension Data Disclaimer

The extension data displayed on ExtensionDB is sourced from publicly available Chrome Web Store information. We make no guarantees regarding:

• Accuracy: Extension metadata may be outdated or incomplete. Always verify on the Chrome Web Store before installing
• Safety: Permission risk labels are informational only and do not constitute a security audit. We do not review, endorse, or certify any extension
• Availability: Extensions may be removed from the Chrome Web Store at any time

ExtensionDB is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google or the Chrome Web Store.

7. Intellectual Property

• The ExtensionDB service, interface, and original content are our property
• Chrome extension metadata belongs to the respective developers and Google
• Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable license to use the service — not ownership of the underlying data

8. Service Availability

We aim to keep ExtensionDB available and up-to-date but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time. "Lifetime access" means access for as long as the service is operational.

9. Limitation of Liability

ExtensionDB is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service
• Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for access ($29)
• We are not responsible for decisions made based on extension data or risk assessments displayed on the platform

10. Account Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms, particularly the acceptable use provisions. You may request account deletion at any time by contacting us.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
